I think I can safely say I’ve found today’s winner, courtesy of fark:
Executive Summary:
- Woman has heart attack, EMTs resuscitate her successfully, bringing her back from the brink of death.
- In the process of giving her CPR to save her life, she ends up with broken ribs.
- While in the hospital, she learns she will need heart bypass surgery.
- Still in the ICU, she falls out of bed, slices open her forehead and breaks her nose.
- To cauterize the 20 stitches on her forehead, a small torch is used – except they forgot to turn off the oxygen mask, and it erupts into flame, burning her entire face.
So, if you find yourself asking “could this day get any worse?”…yes, yes it can.
